Terms of Use
Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service set out the basic rights, obligations, responsibilities, conditions, and procedures between members and SEOLREIM CLINIC (the ‘Clinic’) when members use the service application provided by the Clinic.
Article 2 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
① These Terms apply to all members who wish to use the Service.
② These Terms take effect when their content is posted on the Service screen or otherwise disclosed to members and a member who agrees to them joins the Service.
③ The Clinic may amend these Terms when deemed necessary and shall promptly disclose any amendments in the manner described in paragraph 2. However, changes to important provisions concerning users’ rights or obligations shall be announced at least seven days in advance.
④ Members who do not agree to amended Terms may stop using the Service and terminate their service agreement.
Article 3 (Matters Not Covered by These Terms)
Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations, including the Medical Service Act.
Article 4 (Definition of a Member)
A person who accesses the website and obtains membership status and related rights as a customer by entering required information, including their name and email address.
Chapter 2 Service Agreement
Article 5 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
A customer is deemed to agree to these Terms by clicking ‘Agree’ in response to the question ‘Do you agree to the above Terms of Use?’ when applying to use the Service.
Article 6 (Application for Use)
An application to use the Service, or membership registration, is made by entering the following information on the registration form.
1. User ID 2. Password 3. Name 4. Telephone number 5. Email address 6. Whether the applicant has received treatment
Article 7 (Acceptance of Applications)
The Clinic shall accept applications from customers who accurately provide the information specified in Article 6.
Article 8 (Restrictions on Acceptance)
The Clinic may decline applications in any of the following circumstances.
1. The Service cannot be provided for technical reasons.
2. The applicant does not use their real name, uses another person’s identity, or otherwise provides false registration information.
3. Required registration information is omitted or entered incorrectly.
4. The application undermines, or is intended to undermine, public order or accepted morals.
5. The customer has previously lost membership status for reasons attributable to the customer.
6. Other application requirements specified by the Clinic are not met.
7. Membership registration may be withheld where consent to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy has not been given.
Article 9 (Changes to Agreement Details)
If information supplied at registration changes, the member must update it using the forms and methods separately specified by the Clinic.
Chapter 3 Use of the Service
Article 10 (Purpose and Scope of the Service)
The Clinic operates this Service free of charge to provide information about its medical services. All services except surgical testimonials may be viewed without registering. Under the Medical Service Act, surgical testimonials may be provided after registration and login.
Article 11 (Commencement of the Service)
① If the Service cannot begin because of operational or technical difficulties, the Clinic shall announce this on the website or notify members. ② In principle, the Clinic begins providing the Service when it accepts a member’s application.
Article 12 (Service Hours)
① In principle, the Service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. However, it may be temporarily suspended for operational or technical reasons, or during periods designated by the Clinic for operational purposes. In such cases, the Clinic shall provide notice before or after the suspension. (This paragraph does not apply to ‘KakaoTalk Consultation,’ ‘Telephone Consultation,’ and similar services in the ‘Appointment Booking’ category.)
② The Clinic may divide the Service into specified sections and set separate hours for each, in which case it shall announce the details.
Article 13 (Deletion of Posts or Content)
① If the Clinic determines that any content posted or transmitted through the Service by a member, including between members, falls into any of the following categories, it may delete the content without prior notice and shall bear no liability for doing so.
1. Content that disparages or defames the Clinic, another member, or a third party.
2. Distribution of information, text, images, or other material contrary to public order or accepted morals.
3. Content deemed connected to criminal acts.
4. Content that infringes the copyright or other rights of the Clinic or a third party.
5. Content unrelated to the Service provided by the Clinic.
6. Unnecessary or unauthorized advertising or promotional material.
7. Content created using another person’s ID (resident registration number), name, or other details without authorization, or content that unlawfully falsifies or alters information entered by another person.
8. Content contrary to the purpose of posting, such as multiple duplicate posts.
9. Other content deemed to violate applicable laws or the Clinic’s guidelines.
② The Clinic may establish and implement separate detailed posting guidelines. Members must register or delete posts, including messages between members, according to those guidelines.
Chapter 4 Standards for Disclosure of Materials
Article 14 (Definition of Disclosure)
As this valuable Service is provided free of charge for the public-interest purpose described in Chapter 3, Article 10, the Clinic may disclose the following information.
① Information about techniques and medications used during surgery. ② Treatment testimonials disclosed with the Clinic patient’s consent (available after login).
Article 15 (Methods of Disclosure)
In principle, materials eligible for disclosure under Chapter 4, Article 14 shall be disclosed using the following methods.
① Posting on this website or another website. ② Publication in print or promotional materials. ③ Display using audiovisual equipment within the Clinic. ④ Other methods the Clinic considers appropriate, provided they do not offend accepted social morals.
Chapter 5 Damages and Related Matters
Article 16 (Compensation for Damages)
① A member who violates these Terms and thereby causes loss to the Clinic must compensate the Clinic for all resulting damage.
② If a member’s unlawful conduct or breach of these Terms in using the Service results in claims, litigation, or other objections against the Clinic by a third party, the member must indemnify the Clinic at their own responsibility and expense. If the Clinic is not indemnified, the member must compensate it for all resulting damage.
Article 17 (Disclaimer of Liability)
① The Clinic is exempt from responsibility for providing the Service where it cannot do so because of a natural disaster or equivalent force majeure.
② The Clinic is not responsible for interruptions to use attributable to the member.
③ The Clinic is not responsible for a member’s loss of expected profits from using the Service or for damage arising from materials obtained through it. The Clinic is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, or other content of information, materials, or statements posted by members on the website.
④ The Clinic has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising through the Service between members or between a member and a third party, and is not liable for resulting damage.
Article 18 (Court of Jurisdiction)
① If a dispute arises between the Clinic and a member concerning use of the Service, both parties shall consult in good faith to resolve it.
②If the dispute remains unresolved through consultation under paragraph 1 of this Article, either party may file suit in a court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
