Ultherapy is a nonsurgical lifting treatment based on HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound), developed by Ulthera Inc. in the United States. Since receiving US FDA approval in 2009, it has earned worldwide recognition for its safety and effectiveness.
Ultherapy’s patented DeepSEE™ technology visualizes skin depth in real time during treatment, precisely focusing ultrasound energy on the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system). This creates thermal coagulation points (TCPs), with lifting developing as new collagen and elastin regenerate.

When do the effects begin to appear?
You may feel an immediate lift after treatment, with substantial collagen regeneration effects developing after 2–3 months. Peak results appear at approximately 6 months.
Is the treatment very painful?
You may feel a stinging sensation as ultrasound energy is delivered. Numbing cream minimizes discomfort.
How is the number of shots determined?
It depends on face size, the degree of sagging, and treatment areas. We determine the optimal shot count during your consultation.
How does it differ from Thermage?
Ultherapy uses ultrasound (HIFU) to target the SMAS layer, while Thermage uses radiofrequency (RF) to stimulate the dermis. Combining the two provides a synergistic effect.
Are there any post-treatment precautions?
You can resume daily activities on the day of treatment. We recommend avoiding intense heat, such as saunas and steam rooms, for one week.
